	Even though your Mom wouldn't approve, it is nice to lay out in the sun when the weather turns warm! In our area, we have a few public beaches that you can enjoy getting warmed up and then cooled down again. Eagle Lake is located about 15 km West of South River, and has a very nice beach which is fairly busy in the summer time. They boast changing facilities, as well as public washrooms. The narrow beach is partially shaded by giant white pines, and there are lots of picnic tables as well. The beach is also right across the road from

the Eagle Lake Narrows Country Store, which has lots of supplies that you will need at the beach......ice cream, magazines.....and sun screen too!

In Sundridge, 8 km South of us, there is a public beach which offers just about everything. The beach in Sundridge has a playground, public bathrooms, a government dock, a concert stage, and limited shade. The beach in Sundridge is located right downtown.

There are also lots of places in our area which offer more......you know, privacy..... and less public services. Let us make some suggestions for you! You will want to bring your own picnic lunch, and beverages, and your honey (you know, your honey, like you drizzle on your toast and other yummy things) (what were you thinking of?)
