This is a great drive! 325 Km with about 5 hours of driving. This tour takes you around Lake Nipissing, from the bush and rocks around us to the French farming areas around West Nipissing to some great views of the lake. Leave here in the morning and travel north on Highway 11 to Trout Creek. From Trout Creek take Highway 522 west across to Key River. From Highway 69, go north into the (mostly French) community of West Nipissing. To enjoy your French Kiss, take Highway 69 north to Highway 64 which is about 11 Km north of the French River. Follow Highway 64 east through Alban, Noelville Monetville, North Monetville and Lavigne. At Highway 17 in Verner, turn right (east) and head back towards North Bay. Your next big town is Sturgeon Falls, (sort of half and half, Frenglish). Between Sturgeon Falls and North Bay, there is an Indian Reserve, where lots of folks go for Cigarettes. Follow the Highway right straight through North Bay then continue on Highway 11 back home. Have a look at the map here to see where to go!
