We see lots of folks who are going into or out of Algonquin Park (the ones on their way out are usually a little smellier and a lot happier). There is an access point at Kawawaymog Lake (locals call it Round Lake) which will take you into North Tea Lake and from there you can visit some of the wilderness that is most of Northen Algonquin Park. Acess point number one is the second busiest entrance to Algonquin park!!

Day Trips

If you are thinking of something less complicated, we can set you up with some nice day trips which will take you (a little bit) away... and then bring you back to running water and electricity! We call it "Wilderness Lite"!

Tripping Outfitters

There are several outfitters located right near the ranger station, and they can get you fixed up with whatever you forgot, or don't have. Some of the outfitters at Round Lake (Kawawaymog) have websites as well. Right next to the Ranger Station is Voyageur Outfitting, to conact them, Click here. Also on Round Lake is Northern Wilderness Outfitters, to contact Bill and Bev, click here. You may also wish to contact Northern Edge Algonquin for tripping info. The 'Edge' also does other types of retreats, drumming and other healing stuff.

Near the park gate is Voyageur Quest, they are located on Smyth Lake which is near Round Lake. They offer all kinds of different packages for Wilderness adventures, summer and winter. John has an extensive web site, located here.
